The Green Bay Packers have been dealing with a lot of issues lately surrounding their offense. So the last thing they want is Randall Cobb shaking things up. But that’s exactly what the Pro Bowler did today.
Taking to Twitter earlier today, Cobb made the classic wide receiver move of making an overly cryptic tweet. He wrote “Lead with Love,” capitalizing the L in Love in a way that has a lot of Packers fans freaking out.
Many believe that “Love” is referring to Packers quarterback Jordan Love, and wanting him to start instead of Aaron Rodgers. Love was the Packers’ first-round pick in 2020, but he’s appeared in just six games over the past two years.
As you can imagine, the tweet has been getting all kinds of attention as people try to unravel the mystery. Here are some of the highlights:
Live. Laugh. (Jordan) Love. That’s it that’s the tweet. https://t.co/WhW9ycyUEp

I know, I know, I should not read into this at all
Tweets often mean what they mean at face value
No reason to think any differently in this caseAnd yet https://t.co/Drfn3Njbow

Why is L capitalized in Love? Obviously referring to Jordan Love. I haven’t looked yet, but I bet the packers beat has already jumped all over this https://t.co/Eoda9PT6NY

The Green Bay Packers are coming off three straight NFC North titles and have gone 39-10 over the last three years with Aaron Rodgers at the helm. In that span they’ve reached the NFC Championship Game twice while Rodgers has won two MVP awards.
Maybe Randall Cobb made that tweet completely innocently. But if he didn’t, the Packers might not be ready for what that means.
Rodgers still hasn’t signed a long-term contract extension with the Packers. Perhaps the team will soon belong to Jordan Love whether Cobb wants it or not.
Do you think Randall Cobb meant anything by that tweet?
