As they look to lock down another franchise cornerstone, the Baltimore Ravens signed John Harbaugh to a three-year extension. The NFL’s third-longest-tenured head coach behind Bill Belichick and Mike Tomlin is now under contract to stay with the AFC North squad he joined in 2008 through the 2025 season.
While it’s uncertain whether Lamar Jackson will stick with Harbaugh beyond 2022, the star quarterback took notice of his coach’s new deal.
Responding to a tweet from Pro Football Focus confirming the extension, Jackson playfully asked for some money with a GIF from Everybody Hates Chris.

As teammate Marlon Humphrey noted to Jackson’s amusement, they don’t know how much disposal income Harbaugh has since his salary details weren’t disclosed.

Jackson is due $23 million under the fifth-year option of his rookie contract, but he should receive his own extension soon. At the NFL meetings Monday, Harbaugh said he’s “confident” the Ravens are going to sign the quarterback to a long-term deal.
When that day comes, a lot of people are probably going to hound Jackson for a bit more than one dollar.
