One of the top wideouts available in free agency is coming off the board. Moments ago, Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster announced where he’s heading next.
It turns out that Smith-Schuster is signing a short-term deal with the Kansas City Chiefs. He’ll join a receiving corps that features two of the best weapons in the league in Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce.
“#ChiefsKingdom Let’s go,” Smith-Schuster wrote.
Smith-Schuster was rumored to join the Chiefs last offseason, but he ultimately decided to return to the Steelers for Ben Roethlisberger’s final season in the Steel City.
Now, Smith-Schuster will get to show the world what he can do alongside Patrick Mahomes.
Here’s the announcement from the Pro Bowl wide receiver:

Unfortunately, Smith-Schuster missed a significant amount of time last season due to injury.
When healthy, Smith-Schuster is capable of dominating the middle of the field. Overall, he has 323 career receptions for 3,855 yards and 26 touchdowns.
