The legendary Jim Nantz is currently and going to be the busiest man in sports over the next week.
Nantz, 62, has been tasked with calling both of Saturday night’s Final Four games. He just wrapped up the first of two as Kansas convincingly beat Villanova 81-65 to advance to the title game.
Next, Nantz will call the Duke vs. UNC Final Four game in New Orleans. He’ll then get a one-day break on Sunday before he’s tasked with Monday night’s championship game.
Finally, Nantz will begin preparation for the Masters early next week. The prestigious tournament begins on Apr. 7 and runs through the 10th.
The legendary commentator is going to be one busy man over the next week. He probably wouldn’t have it any other way.
“And now for the time of year in which Jim Nantz’s 8-day work schedule never ceases to amaze me: Call the Final Four Saturday, 4/2 Call the National Championship Monday, 4/4 Flight from New Orleans –> Augusta Call The Masters, 4/7 – 4/10,” Luke Walker outlined.

Yes, Jim Nantz will be very busy. But who wouldn’t want to call the Final Four, championship game and the Masters?
It would get even better if Tiger Woods wound up playing in the all-time classic at Augusta. Nantz has always been a fan of the golf legend.
You can catch Nantz’s coverage of the Duke vs. UNC Final Four game tonight on TNT, TBS or TruTv.
