Look: Jay-Z’s Reaction To Kevin Durant Shot Going Viral

April 13, 2022 by The Spun

Brooklyn Nets forward Kevin Durant looks off into the distance.

On Tuesday night the Brooklyn Nets and Cleveland Cavaliers met in the first of two play-in games scheduled for the night.

Brooklyn jumped out to an incredible start, dropping 40 points in the first quarter. Cleveland answered – somewhat – in the second quarter to keep the game within reach heading into the second half.

During the early portion of the fourth quarter, the Cavaliers looked to be getting right back in the game. Cleveland trailed 87-73 early in the fourth quarter, but battled back to make it an 88-82 ballgame.

That’s when Kevin Durant did what he does – hit big shots. He hit a step-back three-pointer with a defender in his face to give the Nets a 91-82 lead.

That bucket also led to one of the best fan reactions we’ve seen this season. Cameras panned to see Jay-Z sitting court-side and he seemed pretty impressed by Durant’s shot.

Check it out.

Despite the big shot from Durant, the Cavaliers aren’t going away just yet. Cleveland once again cut the Nets’ lead to just six points.

The two teams are trading buckets in the fourth quarter. The game can be found on TNT.
