It is going to be tough for any North Carolina fans to get work done tomorrow before the Tar Heels take on Kansas for the national championship.
Head coach Hubert Davis is trying his best to help them out. The official UNC men’s hoops Twitter account posted an “excuse” letter from Davis to people to give their bosses to get out of work.
The letter calls tomorrow “an unofficial national holiday” and claims that the fan using it “will need to save all of their energy and positive vibes for the game.”
“If you do not have a team to cheer for, we invite you to watch and support this year’s North Carolina Tar Heels,” Davis wrote.

Considering tomorrow night’s game starts at 9:20 p.m. ET, maybe UNC fans should think more about taking off work on Tuesday. It’s going to be a long night.
The Tar Heels are looking for their seventh national championship and first since 2017, while Kansas will be trying to win its fourth title and first since 2008.
