With his win at the Masters today, 25-year-old golfer Scottie Scheffler has now won four PGA Tour events in 2022. And we aren’t even in mid-spring yet.
Scheffler is on an absolute tear right now with four wins in less than 60 days. In that time, he’s made a very pretty penny.
Jeff Eisenband of PGA Tour Live noted that his combined earnings from those four wins comes out to $8.6 million. To date in 2022, Scheffler has won $10,098,014.
Scheffler is on pace to potentially shatter the record for most money from PGA Tour earnings in a single year. The current record for PGA Tour earnings without bonuses is a little over $12 million.
If Scheffler has a top 10 finish in any of the next few majors, he could crush that record under foot.

Scottie Scheffler rose to prominence playing on the Korn Ferry Tour and made his Masters debut in 2020. He finished in a tie for 19th that year and then finished tied for fourth at the PGA Championship.
After finishing tied for 18th at Augusta in 2021, Scheffler tore up the other three majors with top eight finishes at the PGA Championship, U.S. Open and Open Championship.
Scheffler capped off his 2021 campaign by outdueling Jon Rahm at the 2021 Ryder Cup. Since then, he’s been crushing the PGA Tour this year.
He’s likely going to be the overwhelming favorite to win the PGA Championship next month. If he does, all of the earnings records are on the table for him to break.
