Friday marked the second day of joint practice between the Cleveland Browns and New York Giants — and tempers are clearly reaching a boiling point as they approach their preseason matchup on Sunday.
During today’s practice, a fight broke out between Browns cornerback Troy Hill and Giants wide receiver Sterling Shepard.

After playing his first full season as a starter with the Los Angeles Rams in 2020, Hill signed a four-year, $24 million contract with the Browns as a free agent earlier this offseason. This past year, the undrafted CB led the NFL in pick-sixes with two and interception yards with 119.
Shepard is coming off his fifth season as a starter for the Giants in 2020. This past season, the former second-round pick logged a career-high 66 receptions for 656 yards and three touchdowns.
Neither Hill nor Shepard saw time in their teams’ preseason openers this past weekend.
The Browns will face off against the Giants at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday.
