The final college basketball game of Coach K’s career will be a loss to North Carolina in the Final Four.
No. 8 seed UNC upset No. 2 seed Duke in the national semifinal game at the Final Four in New Orleans on Saturday night.
Following the game, Duke’s players were understandably heartbroken. Coach K, meanwhile, waited for UNC’s players to finish celebrating, before congratulating them in the postgame handshake line.

Majority of Duke’s players and coaching staff walked off the floor while UNC’s players celebrated after the final buzzer. Coach K waited until it subsided, then he went through the handshake line and acknowledged each Tar Heel.

While Duke is going home, UNC is off to the national championship game, where No. 1 seed Kansas is waiting.
The Tar Heels and the Jayhawks will play on Monday night.
