NASCAR’s Cup Series circuit has a rare Saturday night race this weekend. The spotlight will be on the NASCAR world tonight.
Former NASCAR and IndyCar driver Danica Patrick was no stranger to the spotlight during her time in the sport. Patrick, who broke barriers during her time in the race car driving world, expanded her brand both on and off the track.
Off the track, Patrick was among the notable athletes to pose for the iconic Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue.

Patrick posed for the iconic Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue in 2008 and again in ’09. She’s one of several notable athletes to pose for the issue.

“You could actually say I was on the cover,” said Patrick, who posed in 2008 and ’09. “I had a little image in the top right corner of the cover. I think Bar Refaeli was the cover girl that year.”

The 2022 edition of the iconic Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue will be out later this year. Perhaps we’ll see another notable athlete or two posing this year.
