Over the weekend, the Michigan Wolverines held their spring game, but it was Colin Kaepernick who stole the show.
The former NFL quarterback was the honorary captain for the game and put on a workout during halftime. In front of NFL scouts, Kaepernick put together a 15-minute workout.
It was a unique opportunity for the former San Francisco 49ers quarterback, provided by his former coach, Jim Harbaugh. Earlier this afternoon, Kaepernick thanked both Harbaugh and the Wolverines.
“Special thanks to @CoachJim4UM,” Kaepernick said on Twitter. “I’m grateful for him and the Wolverine community. It felt great to be back on the field with him during the halftime throwing session. Go blue!”

Immediately after the workout, Kaepernick told reporters just how much Harbaugh meant to him and his NFL career.
“Coach Harbaugh, he’s always been phenomenal for me,” Kaepernick said. “From the time we met at the combine to my pro day to him drafting me and choosing to start me. From there, our relationship has continued to grow and develop. Phenomenal person. Phenomenal man. Lot of love for coach Harbaugh.”
Will Kaepernick actually get a shot in the NFL?
