Tim Tebow didn’t just have one embarrassing “block” attempt in his debut for the Jacksonville Jaguars on Saturday. It turns out that the former NFL quarterback had at least two.
Earlier this weekend, a video of Tebow’s “block” attempt went viral on social media. The former star college football quarterback is attempting to make the Jaguars as a tight end. Blocking is a pretty big part of being a tight end.
Unfortunately, this did not go well for Tebow.
As ugly and hilarious as this “block” is by Tim Tebow, he got the job done.
This is a block that works in the preseason but won’t work on Sunday.

That wasn’t Tebow’s only rough block attempt of the night, though.
As pointed out by Chris Towers of CBS Sports, Tebow actually had a much worse block attempt on the very next play.
“Honestly, the Tebow block that went viral wasn’t even his worst block of the night. This was *the very next play*” he tweeted.
“We’ve gotta get our jokes off, and we will, but it’s worth saying that this is just … bad for the team. The Jaguars have to make roster cuts by Tuesday and if he’s still around, I don’t know how you take that staff seriously.”

The Jaguars have to get down to 85 players by Tuesday. It will be fascinating to see if Tebow is still on the roster.
