One of the greatest running backs in the history of the National Football League will be retiring this year.
Frank Gore, a five-time Pro Bowler and member of the NFLβs 2010s All-Decade team, reportedly announced on Instagram Live on Saturday night that he plans on retiring soon.
The 38-year-old running back has not played in the league since 2020. Gore, who starred collegiately at Miami, plans on retiring as a member of the San Francisco 49ers.

Gore played for the San Francisco 49ers from 2005-14. Heβs one of the best running backs in the history of the organization.
The running back later played for the Colts, Dolphins, Bills and Jets.
Gore will finish his career with 16,000 rushing yards, 81 rushing touchdowns, 3,985 receiving yards and 18 receiving touchdowns.
If this is truly it for Gore, heβs had one heck of a career.
