Las Vegas Raiders’ Odds for Next Season

September 4, 2025 by Raiders Nation

Passionate Raiders Fan

As we approach the start of the 2025 NFL Season, fans of the Las Vegas Raiders will be forgiven for being somewhat gloomy about the team’s chances in the months ahead. Of course, there are some reasons for optimism, but they must be tempered with the pragmatic view that this is a team in the process of rebuilding, which is about more than the depth of the roster.

That said, a new season brings fresh opportunities, and fans will be hopeful that the Pete Carroll era incorporates a plan to get the team back on track. If it is to be a season of transition, then most will hope that the direction of travel is correct. But what do the sportsbooks think about the Raiders from now to January? We have perused various platforms’ futures odds and NFL game betting lines to find what they say for the Raiders across the 2025 season. Some of the highlights are below:

The Raiders’ Super Bowl LX Odds

Let’s face it, we are looking at miracle territory. Averaging across multiple sportsbooks, the Raiders are the 6th least likely team to win the Super Bowl, with odds of +10000 or greater. Fans accept that the team is a work in progress, and those who are not the most wide-eyed optimists will be happy to see improvement and a sense of progression. The Super Bowl is almost out of reach next February, but it’s about showing that future Super Bowls might not be

The Raiders’ Playoff Odds

While it’s doubtful that the Raiders will make it to the Super Bowl, sneaking into the Playoffs is not entirely out of the question. Plenty of teams have turned around losing seasons to become Playoff contenders the next year throughout NFL history. The Raiders have odds of +330 to make the Playoffs, and that’s not a long shot in betting terms. The odds to “miss” the Playoffs are -475, which again are not insurmountable. The team remains up against it, but stranger things have happened.

AFC West

Like last season, the Raiders are not expected to conquer the AFC West. The Chiefs’ dominance over the past half-decade has meant that it’s primarily been a race to secure the best of the rest status, but the Chiefs do have some issues to address this season, so there may be openings for the Broncos, Chargers, and Raiders. Nonetheless, the Raiders are priced at +1500 to win the division. The Chiefs remain firm favorites at +100, although some interest remains in the Chargers (+300). The Broncos are just a fraction behind the Chargers.

Over/Under Wins

The Raiders have odds of -350 to record over 4.5 wins across the regular season. Other figures are available, but we cite that one because beating it would mean surpassing last season’s disappointing 4-13 tally. A winning season (over 8.5 games) is priced at +225.

Player Awards

Geno Smith has a mammoth price of +15000 to win the NFL Regular Season MVP. It probably won’t happen, yet we see some potential in Pete Carroll being named Coach of the Year. The veteran coach is priced at +1500 to pick up the accolade, making him the 5th favorite overall. However, the most likely Raider to pick up a gong at the end-of-season awards seems to be Ashton Jeanty. He’s the market leader for Offensive Rookie of the Year.

The Raiders’ Opening Game Betting Lines

If the Raiders are to turn things around this season, getting a good start seems imperative. It would build confidence and a sense of cohesion. The opening game is against the New England Patriots at Gillette Stadium on September 5. The Patriots (-166) are favorites but only marginally so. The Raiders (+140) will have to win these games to prove they will start turning things around.
