Brooklyn Nets point guard Kyrie Irving is absolutely lighting it up in tonight’s NBA play-in game against his former Cleveland Cavaliers team.
Midway through the third quarter, Kyrie has 23 points on a perfect 10/10 shooting from the field (3/3 from behind the arc). He’s also thrown in a solid seven assists.

This is yet another wildly-efficient performance for the seven-time All Star.
In the Nets’ final regular-season game against the Indianapolis Pacers, Kyrie dropped a game-high 35 points on 15-20 shooting from the field (4-6 from three). Back in March, he notched an even more impressive 50 points on 15-19 shooting (9-12 from three).
If Irving and the Nets hold on to win tonight, they’ll face off against the No. 2-seed Boston Celtics in the first round of the 2022 NBA playoffs.
