Rogers joined the Nebraska program as a three-star recruit in the 2018 class, per 247Sports. Through three active season and 18 game appearances with the Cornhuskers, the Syracuse native logged 42 tackles, 1.5 sacks and six tackles for loss.
After redshirting his freshman season and playing just four games in 2019, Rogers suited up for every game in the shortened COVID-19 season in 2020. He missed the first five games of the 2021 season after suffering an injury during fall camp.
Due to his freshman redshirt and COVID-19 exemption, Rogers has two remaining seasons of collegiate eligibility as he heads into his fifth campaign.
Nebraska will look to bounce back after yet another disappointing 3-9 season in 2021.
