Joc Pederson is returning to the West Coast, but he won’t be playing for the Los Angeles Dodgers.
In fact, he’s going to play for their biggest rival: The San Francisco Giants.

Pederson spent time with both the Chicago Cubs and Atlanta Braves during the 2021 season. He was traded to Atlanta around the trade deadline and ended up hitting seven homers off a .249 batting average.
He’s only the ninth player in MLB history to win back-to-back championships with two different teams (he was on the Dodgers in 2020).
Before he played for the Cubs and Braves, he spent seven years with the Dodgers. His best season came in 2019 when he smashed 36 homers and had 74 RBI’s off a .249 batting average.
Pederson has tortured the Giants many times throughout his career, so their fans will be happy that he’s on their side now.
San Francisco won 107 games last season and looked poised to win another championship before losing in the NLDS to Los Angeles.
