Earlier Thursday afternoon, a video showing a conversation between Joel Embiid and J.J. Redick went viral.
In the clip, Redick can be seen breaking down a showdown between Embiid and Kevin Durant. During the segment, Redick says the reason he brought the clip up was because it features “two of the three” best basketball players in the world.
Of course, Embiid wanted to know where he sat on the list. After going back-and-forth a few times, Redick finally acknowledged that Embiid, Durant and Nikola Jokic are the three best players in the NBA.
That left Embiid with just one question. He wanted to know where Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo sat on the list.
Redick claimed that Giannis is in the “next” group of players.
Check it out.

Embiid and Jokic are the two favorites to win the MVP award right now. Earlier this month, Embiid was all alone as the favorite, but the Denver Nuggets star has been gaining steam in recent weeks.
Jokic is now the odds-on favorite to win the award for the second-consecutive season.
