Tiger Woods continues to recover from the injuries suffered in his serious single-car accident in Southern California earlier this year.
The 15-time major champion has been making good progress, as he was recently spotted putting weight on his injured leg.
Woods, 45, admitted that his rehab process has been extremely difficult.
“This has been an entirely different animal,” Woods said, via Golf Digest. “I understand more of the rehab processes because of my past injuries, but this was more painful than anything I have ever experienced.”
The golf world continues to wonder when – or if – Woods will play again.
Legendary golfer Jack Nicklaus believes it will happen, though.
“I know Tiger,” he said, per the Washington Post. “What he did at Torrey Pines [winning the 2008 U.S. Open] on a broken leg, what does that tell you? He’ll still be able to slap it around, and if he can putt, he’ll be all right. I don’t know if he can reach his old level, but I do expect him to play again.”
If anyone can make it back from these injuries, it’s Tiger Woods.
Hopefully we’ll get to see Woods back on the course at some point in 2022.
