Zion Williamson and Ja Morant’s NBA careers will likely always be tied to one another. Not only because they went No. 1 and No. 2 in the draft, but also from their days in South Carolina on the same AAU team.
After Saturday night’s game between the Pelicans and Grizzlies, the two young stars could be seen catching up. And if Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving have taught us anything, these conversations can shift the face of the league.

Zion Williamson hasn’t touched the floor all season for the Pelicans. Meanwhile, Ja Morant put together an MVP-caliber campaign before sitting out three weeks due to knee soreness.
However, he was able to return in Saturday’s game to lift the Grizzlies past New Orleans with 21 points and nine assists in 27 minutes.
