March Madness notoriety doesn’t just benefit the players and coaches, the cheerleaders can get involved on the rewards, too.
An Indiana cheerleader went viral in the first round of the NCAA Tournament last week, when she helped retrieve a basketball that had gotten stuck in the hoop.
Cassidy Cerny, an IU cheerleader, went viral on Turner Sports for her efforts.

Indiana lost its first round game to St. Mary’s, so the cool moment with Cerny and the Hoosiers cheerleaders was arguably the highlight of the NCAA Tournament for the program.
