Scottie Scheffler has stayed red-hot during the Masters.
After draining birdies on the 12th and 13th holes, Scheffler has jumped to a three-stroke lead over the field at 6-under. The PGA Tour’s top-ranked golfer could enter the weekend in the driver’s seat to take home his third win or fifth two-top placement in his last 10 Tour events.
While the 25-year-old has remained a fairly unassuming star, the golf world is finally taking notice as he puts on a clinic at Augusta National.

Onlookers have held off on giving him the crown, but it appears time to acknowledge Scheffler’s status atop the game.
Well I’ll be darned. Scottie Scheffler *is* the best player in the world.

Don’t overthink it.
It’s Scottie Scheffler’s world, and everyone else is just in it.
Can’t discount the Augusta pressure, but at this point he’s a juggernaut.

He continues to constantly flourish despite windy conditions in Georgia. Scheffler, who won the Arnold Palmer Invitational last month, has maintained his elite form while looking unflappable.
Oh, wow. Scottie Scheffler is making an appearance atop the leaderboard.
It’s almost as if we’ve seen this every round for the last 3 months.

Scottie Scheffler is just having a nice stroll in the park, no stress, chatting with his caddie, smiling after every shot. My guy is playing a different course.

Scottie Scheffler proving to the world why he’s World No 1. Dude is dialled in and seems to be the only one genuinely enjoying these conditions. #TheMasters

There’s still plenty of golf left this weekend, but Scheffler has a golden opportunity to capture his first major championship at Augusta.
