On Friday morning, a notable golf insider made a major prediction for Tiger Woods and whether or not he’ll play in the Masters.
The entire golf community is awaiting an answer from Woods. All signs indicate he’s trying to give it a go. But his decision will likely depend on his range of motion and the injury risk he’d have by playing.
As many have noted, Woods would be willing to play through pain, as he’s done many times before. It’s unlikely he’d forego a prestigious tournament like the Masters only because he’s experiencing pain.
Dan Rapoport of Golf Digest believes Tiger Woods is going to play in the Masters next week. It’s just a guess, but a notable one at that.
This is a pure opinion, I don’t know anything more than the rest of you…but I have reached the point where I would be surprised if Tiger Woods does not play in the Masters.

“This is a pure opinion, I don’t know anything more than the rest of you…but I have reached the point where I would be surprised if Tiger Woods does not play in the Masters,” Rapoport tweeted.
It is noteworthy Tiger Woods hasn’t announced he’s not playing at the Masters. But it’s more than likely he still has a few things to figure out before making a decision.
It’s pretty amazing how Tiger Woods is still able to capture the attention of an entire sport. The sport needs him, really. And the PGA Tour would love nothing more than if he returned for the Masters.
Will Woods make his comeback at the Masters at Augusta next week?
