On Monday, Tiger Woods participated in a practice round at Augusta National with Fred Couples and Justin Thomas. Although the Masters is still a few days away, it seems like Woods will compete in this year’s event.
As for what fans should expect from Woods at Augusta National this week, Couples claims the 15-time major champion is driving the ball very well.
“I’m sure he’s going to tee it up Thursday… the driver was a machine,” Couples said.

One of the main concerns regarding Woods’ game is whether or not he can drive the ball despite suffering major injuries to his leg and foot. Judging by Couples’ comments, those concerns should be put to rest.
“He looked phenomenal,” Couples added, via ESPN. “What impressed me the most is he was bombing it. I know JT’s not the longest hitter on tour, but I know he’s damn long. He was with him, flushing it.”
Hopefully, we’ll see Woods competing at a high level with the rest of the field this week.
The Masters will officially start on April 7.
