The SEC Network has reloaded its staff ahead of the upcoming college football season.
The SEC Network has hired former New Orleans Saints and Ole Miss running back Deuce McAllister, per John Ourand of the Sports Business Journal. He’ll be a game analyst, joining Dave Neal and Andraya Carter, when Auburn hosts Alabama State on Saturday, Sept. 11.
“SEC Network hired Deuce McAllister as a game analyst alongside Dave Neal and Andraya Carter,” Ourand said on Twitter. “His first game: Alabama State-Auburn on Sept. 11.”
This is a solid pickup for the SEC Network, which already has one of the best staffs in the broadcasting business.

Deuce McAlister began his football career with Ole Miss. He had 3,181 yards and 38 touchdowns in 44 games for the Rebels. He also had 671 receiving yards and three touchdowns, as well.
The Saints took McAllister with the No. 23 overall pick in the 2001 NFL Draft. He had a pretty successful professional career. The bulldozer back spent eight years in the NFL, all with the Saints, where he rushed for 6,096 yards and 49 touchdowns.
After his retirement, McAllister got into the broadcasting world back in 2018. He served as a game analyst for, you guessed it, the New Orleans Saints. He now heads back to the college football world to join the SEC Network. He will help provide coverage for the Alabama State-Auburn game on Saturday, Sept. 11.
Good luck, Deuce!
