Former NBA head coach Stan Van Gundy has reportedly landed a new media job.
Van Gundy, 61, was the New Orleans Pelicans head coach last season. However, the Western Conference franchise parted ways with the veteran head coach following the year.
The veteran head coach will not be returning to the sideline in 2021-22.
According to the New York Post, Van Gundy has landed a media job with Turner Sports.

After leaving the booth to coach the Pelicans for one season, Stan Van Gundy is returning to TNT, according to sources. The 61-year-old will look to build on his rookie season as an in-game analyst in 2019-20, during which he shined – particularly when teamed with Ian Eagle.
Van Gundy also will appear on NBA TV as a studio analyst.
Van Gundy worked as a game analyst for TNT in 2019-20. He was widely praised for his work on the air.
The veteran NBA head coach has led four different NBA franchises – Miami, Orlando, Detroit and Orlando. Van Gundy is 554-425 as an NBA head coach.
Now, he’ll look to further develop his career in the media field.
