An instant review of Week 7’s game
After a slow start, the Las Vegas Raiders took over and easily beat the Philadelphia Eagles. This team is rolling again, folks.
Let’s take a quick look at the game:
Records: The Raiders are 5-2. The Eagles are 2-5
What it means:
The Raiders are in first place in the AFC West. Yes, the Raiders are in first place and are tied with the best record in the AFC. They lead the Los Angeles Chargers, who are 4-2 and had their bye week in Week 7, the 3-4 Denver Broncos and the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC West. Las Vegas are now 2-0 under interim head coach Rich Bisaccia in the wake of Jon Gruden’s departure.

Turning point:
The Raiders scored 17 points in the second quarter to take a 17-7 lead at halftime. The Raiders started slow again, but came back and took control of the game with a huge second quarter, including a late field goal after a fumble recovery deep in Eagles’ territory. The Eagles began the second half with an onside kick attempt that Raiders’ special teams captain Alex Ingold alertly sniffed out and recovered, it setup another Las Vegas touchdown drive. That was pretty much the clincher for another impressive Raiders’ victory.

What’s next:
