Another week, another disappointing showing for Jim Harbaugh and the Michigan Wolverines.
Michigan, coming off an upset loss at home to Michigan State, lost on the road to the undefeated Indiana Hoosiers. The Wolverines are now 1-2 on the season.
Harbaugh’s seat was already hot and now it’s probably on-fire. At this point, it would almost be surprising if Harbaugh is back at Michigan in 2021.
ESPN college football analyst Paul Finebaum has been a harsh critic of Harbaugh over the years. He of course thinks it’s time for Michigan to move on. The ESPN college football analyst has one ideal replacement in mind, too.
Former Ohio State Buckeyes star turned Cincinnati coach Luke Fickell.
“I can think of somebody who’s not that far away and really has impressed me this year and really has done one of the most phenomenal jobs in college football,” Finebaum said this week on ESPN’s ‘Jalen & Jacoby’ program. “That’s Luke Fickell.”
Fickell bleeds Scarlet and Gray, so it would be interesting to see if he’d consider taking the Michigan job. If he did, it would certainly add more intrigue to the Ohio State vs. Michigan rivalry.
Michigan fans – who do you want to see replace Harbaugh in Ann Arbor?
