Since they’re the reigning champions, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are currently the odds-on favorites to win the NFC this upcoming season. This means that every team in the conference will be gunning for them this fall.
During this Friday’s edition of Get Up on ESPN, the crew discussed which teams could potentially stop Tom Brady and the Buccaneers.
ESPN analyst Sam Acho had the rest of the Get Up panel in disbelief when he said the Washington Football Team could potentially dethrone the Buccaneers this upcoming season.
“The one team that could get in the way of Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers is the Washington Football Team,” Acho said. “The reason why is because they did it last year with a fourth-string quarterback. The Washington Football Team made the playoffs last year – Taylor Heinicke came in and Tampa Bay admittedly struggled.”

Acho believes Washington’s defensive line could really cause issues for Tampa Bay’s offense.
“If there are any questions about Tampa Bay’s team, it would be up front at offensive line,” Acho said on Get Up. “There are no questions up front about the Washington Football Team.”
This is a really bold prediction considering teams like the Green Bay Packers and Los Angeles Rams have better overall rosters than the Washington Football Team. But anything can happen on any given Sunday, so we’ll have to just wait and see if Acho’s prediction can turn into a reality.
