Could D.K. Metcalf be the next superstar NFL wide receiver on the move this offseason? One ESPN analyst has a pretty crazy trade idea in mind.
ESPN’s Rob Ninkovich wants to see Metcalf be reunited with his former Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson in Denver.
“What if D.K. went to the Broncos with Russell Wilson? Now what would that offense look like? It would be mindblowing and scary,” he said on Friday.
Ninkovich made sure to point out it’s only speculation. Regardless, how fun would D.K. Metcalf be playing for the Broncos this fall?

The D.K. Metcalf trade rumors began swirling last week. It was reported the Seattle Seahawks would be willing to move on from the freak athlete, but only at the right acquisition price.
That price could be way too steep for NFL teams, though. The original asking price might be in the range of two first-round picks. No team is going to give that up for a wide receiver, regardless of how good he is.
For now, Seattle is reportedly taking calls but isn’t entertaining many of them.
“As of now, they’re getting calls and telling teams they’re not shopping Metcalf,” Brady Henderson tweeted.
To be clear: That’s just my guess — as I wrote — on what they’d want *if* they were to negotiate with other teams. As of now, they’re getting calls and telling teams they’re not shopping Metcalf. https://t.co/06icOvP2ui

Metcalf in Denver with Russell Wilson sure would be fun. However, it doesn’t look like it’s an actual possibility, at least right now.
