Football season is still several months away, but Erin Andrews was reminded of one of the best coaches in the NFL during this Monday’s national championship game between Kansas and North Carolina.
During the first half of the game, Tracy Wolfson interviewed North Carolina head coach Hubert Davis. He had a very animated response about the pace of the game.
“It’s live-action, Tracy. It’s live-action out there,” Davis said. “I thought we were nervous at the beginning, but we got better defensively and now we’re starting to attack the basket. We’re ready to go.”
Most of the focus was on Davis’ raspy voice, which is probably a result of him yelling in order to communicate with his players inside the Caesars Superdome.
Shortly after Andrews heard this interview, she tweeted: “Sean McVay vibes. Love it.”

McVay is known for having a raspy voice, so this comparison makes a lot of sense.
We’ll see if Davis can capture a championship just like McVay did earlier this year.
