The first half of the national title game between Kansas and North Carolina is nearly over.
It’s been a back-and-forth contest with both teams sharing the lead several times. While the action on the court has been exciting, the best moment of the first half didn’t come from a player.
With just over five minutes left in the first half, sideline reporter Tracy Wolfson spoke with North Carolina head coach Hubert Davis. It’s safe to say he was pretty fired up for the big game.

His comments to Wolfson and attitude during the interview quickly went viral. Veteran NFL sideline reporter Erin Andrews said she wished every interview she did could be like that.
“Would LOVE every interview to be like that. Awesome,” Andrews said.

With just a few minutes left in the first half, Davis has reason to be excited. His Tar Heels currently hold a 28-22 lead over the Jayhawls.
