The Seattle Seahawks don’t plan on trading star wide receiver D.K. Metcalf, but if they do, you can probably rule out one potential destination.
Wednesday night, Metcalf shot down the idea of playing in Kansas City.
A Chiefs fan tweeted “the door is open in kc!” at the Seahawks wide receiver. His response to the fan is going viral.
Better close it, heard it get cold at night 😂 https://t.co/wkdg2FG6nZ

Well played, DK.
NFL fans are now getting their best recruiting pitches in.
“It gets cold in Cleveland too, but we can get you a coat,” one fan tweeted.
“Hey @dkm14 say that and then come play your home games at Lambeau, it’d be hilarious,” a Packers fan wrote.
“LOL guess your gonna have to deal with it in foxborough,” another fan added from New England.
The Packers and the Chiefs are reportedly interested in Metcalf – who wouldn’t be? – but it doesn’t sound like the Seahawks have any interest in moving him.
Sources tell me the Packers and Chiefs have inquired about DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett’s availability.
Seattle is open to listening to offers for their star WRs but nothing is imminent.

Metcalf will likely be in Seattle, catching passes from Drew Lock (or Baker Mayfield) during the 2022 season.
