ESPN’s Dick Vitale is very impressed with how North Carolina is playing at the NCAA Tournament.
Vitale even went as far as to say that this isn’t close to the team that we all saw during the regular season.
“This is not the UNC team we saw that was up & down during the season,” Vitale tweeted. “HUBERT DAVIS has really reached his team about playing with PRIDE & on both sides O & D. They have matured & since W over Duke. They have BIG TIME SWAG.”

North Carolina looks poised to end Saint Peter’s Cinderella run as the latter has already beaten two of the best teams in the country.
In the first round, the Peacocks beat the Wildcats of Kentucky before then beating the Murray State Racers and the Purdue Boilermakers.
Doug Edert was limited to just two points in that first half as the Peacocks are down by 23 (as of this writing).
If the Tar Heels hold on, they’ll get a chance at taking down Coach K’s Blue Devils for the second time this season. This time, though, it would be to try and end his coaching career on a more sour note.
