Arkansas has been red-hot against Gonzaga in the Sweet 16 as a spot in the Elite Eight is on the line.
The Razorbacks scored 32 points in the first half and are up three on the Bulldogs at the half. This is the third time this tournament that the Bulldogs have trailed at the break.
They trailed in both games against Georgia State and Memphis before rallying in the second half to win.
Vitale posted on Twitter and asked if Arkansas head coach Eric Musselman can shut down both Drew Timme and Chet Holmgren in the second half. Vitale also seems to think that Gonzaga’s scoring ability may be too tough to overcome.
Out West the # 1 @ZagMBB face an aggressive scrappy athletic team in @RazorbackMBB . Can Eric Musselman devise a plan that can contain Mark Few’s Dazzling Duo of TIMME & Holmgren? VBDI thinks scoring ability of Zags too much to overcome . @ESPNPR pic.twitter.com/7y2UOPWgkW

Timme leads the Bulldogs in scoring so far with 10 and is the only player in double-figures so far (as of this writing).
Holmgren has been limited so far with only five points.
Gonzaga is going to need both players to step up if it’s going to advance to another Elite Eight.
