On Tuesday night, Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson reportedly met with the Cleveland Browns.
According to a report from NFL insider Aaron Wilson, Watson and the Browns wrapped up their meeting tonight. The star quarterback isn’t done with meetings yet this week, though.
According to Wilson, the three-time Pro Bowler will meet with the Atlanta Falcons on Wednesday.
“Cleveland Browns completed their meeting today (Tuesday) with quarterback Deshaun Watson in Houston, per a league source,” Wilson reported. “Up next for the three-time Pro Bowl passer: a Wednesday meeting with the Atlanta Falcons. A Gainesville, Ga., native, Watson is a former Falcons ball boy.”

ESPN’s Adam Schefter first reported the Atlanta Falcons entered the Deshaun Watson sweepstakes this morning.
“Falcons owner Arthur Blank is fond of Deshaun Watson from the days when the former Gainesville (Ga) High quarterback worked multiple years as a Falcons’ ball boy and developed a relationship with Blank’s family,” Schefter said.
Not long later, fellow ESPN reporter Dianna Russini said Watson personally reached out to the Falcons as well. “I’m told QB Deshaun Watson has interest in the Atlanta Falcons and has even reached out to the franchise personally, per source,” Russini said.
The Browns and Falcons aren’t alone in their pursuit of the star quarterback. Both the Carolina Panthers and New Orleans Saints are also on the hunt for a top quarterback.
