Samuel was a massive asset for the 49ers in 2021 — and the franchise won’t be giving him away for free this offseason.
According to a recent report from Sports Illustrated, an anonymous NFL GM said the Niners could be looking for two first-round picks in exchange for their All-Pro wide receiver. NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport reports that the San Francisco organization could be willing to trade Samuel for compensation in line with the No. 13 overall pick in the draft.
The New York Jets, Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers have all been reported as potential suitors for Samuel.
