Dak Prescott and the Cowboys finally came to an agreement on a contract extension earlier this year, and the star quarterback celebrated appropriately.
Prescott revealed on Sunday night that he celebrated his rookie deal by getting some gas for his car and a snack or two. That appears modest compared to how he celebrated his latest extension. The Cowboys quarterback bought a Ferrari.
“Probably dinner for the whole family and friends when they all came into town that night. … But then I got a Ferrari,” Prescott said.
We don’t blame you, Dak. He definitely deserved a brand new ride after inking a four-year, $160 million extension. We don’t expect this to be the last big purchase Prescott makes in coming years.

Dak Prescott has a long-term contract in hand now – it’s time for him to prove he’s worth the money.
When healthy, Prescott is a top-10 NFL quarterback. Health is a big if, though. He missed most of the 2020 season after going down with a season-ending injury in Week 5.
Prescott and the Cowboys have no excuses to miss the postseason this year. The Cowboys are a really good football team, particularly on the offensive side of the ball. The offensive line is superb, Prescott is an elite quarterback and he has a deep and talented receiving unit. We’ll find out early on in the 2021 season what Dallas is really made of.
Prescott and the Cowboys get to work on Sept. 9 against the defending champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
