Watts had the best season of his career in 2021 after finishing with 19 total tackles (11 solo), plus had one fumble recovery.
Before this season, he played three other seasons with the Chiefs (2018-20) and had 39 total tackles (31 solo), two sacks, and two passes defended.
He was originally a fourth-round pick in the 2018 NFL Draft out of Texas A&M. He was a four-year starter with the Aggies (2014-17) with his best season coming in 2015.
Watts finished that season with 126 total tackles (83 solo), one interception, two passes defended, and two forced fumbles.
The Colts will likely use Watts in a depth role for this upcoming season.
Theyâre looking to get back to the playoffs after missing out by just one game this past season.
