College Football World Reacts To Scott Frost, Nebraska News

August 18, 2021 by The Spun Leave a Comment

Nebraska head coach Scott Frost on the field.

On Wednesday morning, Nebraska football fans woke up to some unfortunate news about the state of the program.

According to a new report from Brett McMurphy of Action Network, the NCAA is investigating head coach Scott Frost and the Nebraska football program. “Nebraska’s football program and coach Scott Frost are under NCAA investigation for improper use of analysts and consultants during practices and games,” the report states.

The school reportedly has “significant video footage” confirming the violations took place in front of Frost and other assistant coaches. It’s obviously bad news for the program.

However, other fans around the college football world aren’t feeling bad for Frost and company. In fact, most fans had the same joke.

Everyone pointed out the fact that Frost and company may have bent the rules only to win a few games.

oh no, this is terrible, nebraska might have to vacate both wins of the scott frost erahttps://t.co/4ZY2oDeBbt

The NCAA reportedly interviewed Frost, multiple current and former staff members, administration and football players regarding the allegations. McMurphy also reported Frost obtained legal counsel.

The NCAA’s investigation doesn’t appear to be over just yet, but McMurphy detailed a potential punishment. He suggested Frost could be suspended for “an unknown number of games.”

Frost and the Huskers won three games during the 2020 season. Arguably the biggest win of the Frost era came in 2020 with an impressive win over Penn State.

The Huskers start the 2021 season on the road against the Illinois Fighting Illini on August 28.
