A college football coach has tragically passed away at the age of 32 following complications with an illness.
John Peacock, an offensive line coach at Western Carolina, died on Wednesday following a battle with COVID-19.
The young college football coach reportedly died just five days after testing positive. His fiancee shared the heartbreaking news on Facebook. The couple was reportedly set to marry in February.
Western Carolina confirmed the tragic news earlier this week.

Kenny Moore II, a cornerback for the Indianapolis Colts who played for Peacock at Valdosta State, shared a heartfelt message on Twitter.
“So sad to hear the news of a former coach. Thinking of all the loved ones and everyone else impacted by Coach Peacock,” he wrote on social media.
