Bryant University guard Peter Kiss, the leading scorer in the nation this year, has announced his decision for the 2022-23 season.
Kiss, who turns 25 years old in May, will opt to pursue professional opportunities rather than come back to school for his final year of eligibility. This closes the book on Kiss’ college basketball career, which covered six seasons and three schools.
“The past six years have been filled with success and a ton of failure,” Kiss wrote in his announcement on Instagram. “I was fortunate enough to have some great coaches and brothers along the way. Teammates turned into brothers and coaches turned into father figures/role models.
Bryant’s Peter Kiss will pursue a professional career and will not use his additional year of eligibility, per his IG page.

Kiss led the country with 25.2 points per game this season, leading Bryant to the NEC title and an appearance in the NCAA Tournament.
The 6-foot-5 wing began his college career at Quinnipiac in 2016 and spent one season with the Bobcats before transferring to Rutgers. Kiss sat out the 2017-18 campaign due to NCAA rules, and then was a key contributor for RU during the 2018-19 campaign.
However, Kiss found himself buried on the depth chart the following year, and after playing in only two games all season, left Rutgers to transfer to Bryant. His third college hoops home wound up being the best fit, as Kiss scored 1,046 points in two seasons with the Bulldogs.
