Colin Kaepernick To Hold Workout At Michigan’s Spring Game Tomorrow

April 2, 2022 by The Spun

Colin Kaepernick works out for NFL scouts.

Former 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick will have a chance to showcase his skillset in front of NFL personnel this Saturday.

On Friday, it was announced that Kaepernick will hold an exhibition throwing event with some draft-eligible players during halftime of Michigan’s spring game this weekend.

Earlier this week, the University of Michigan announced that Kaepernick would be the honorary captain for the football team’s spring game.

This throwing event will just be the cherry on top for what should be a fun weekend for Kaepernick.

Kaepernick has worked out with a few NFL players this offseason in an effort to show that he still has what it takes to play quarterback at this level.

Though a team hasn’t offered Kaepernick a contract at this time, he said his camp has received positive feedback.

“We’ve been getting positive responses,” Kaepernick said in March. “Trainers that we’ve seen, organizations that my agent have talked to said I look good. My arm is still alive. I’m still ready to go. More than anything, we’re looking for the opportunity to come in, get some work in and show what I can do.”

Perhaps teams will express more interest in Kaepernick after Saturday’s throwing session.
