Oklahoma State freshman Cade Cunningham is considered by most to be the top prospect in the 2021 NBA Draft class.
Cunningham, a five-star freshman, was sensational for the Cowboys this past season. Oklahoma State was upset in the second round of the NCAA Tournament, likely ending Cunningham’s college career. He’ll be off to the NBA, where he’s projected to go No. 1 overall.
“It’s been special,” Cunningham said of playing at Oklahoma State. “I think that’s the best way to describe it. I think the biggest thing is I surrounded myself around great people. More than anything, that’s the thing I’m most proud of. That’s the thing, I feel like I’ve grown up the most by being around good people who pushed me to be somebody good on the court and off the court. I’m going to miss it, for sure.”
Charles Barkley would go with another player at No. 1 overall, though.
The legendary NBA star turned analyst revealed who he would take with the top pick in the NBA Draft. Barkley would select Gonzaga freshman guard Jalen Suggs at No. 1 overall.

Suggs is projected by most to be a top-three prospect in the NBA Draft, though few people expect him to be in contention at No. 1 overall.
The 2021 NBA Draft is set to take place on July 29.
