On Thursday afternoon, the college football world learned there will be a new play-by-play analyst on CBS this fall.
According to a report from Andrew Marchand, Noah Eagle is partnering with Aaron Murray and Rick Neuheisel for CBS. The son of legendary broadcaster Ian Eagle, Noah has carved out his own role in the media world.
Now he’s set to join CBS where he’ll help cover the SEC on Saturdays this fall.
“Play-by-play announcer Noah Eagle joins CBS Sports’ college football coverage, and will team with analysts Aaron Murray and Rick Neuheisel, along with sideline reporter Jenny Dell, for additional SEC ON CBS games. Eagle also will call select games this season on CBS Sports Network.”

Marchand noted that CBS’ SEC first team remains Brad Nessler, Gary Danielson and Jamie Erdahl.
Eagle graduated from Syracuse in 2019 and quickly took over as the voice of the Los Angeles Clippers. He’s worked numerous sporting events in the past, but found a home with CBS for college football coverage this fall.
