Mike Tomlin has had many hilarious phrases over the years but Cam Heyward knows which one is his favorite.
His phrases are considered “Tomlinism’s” by the media and the Steelers fanbase as he comes up with new ones all the time. The all-pro defensive lineman loves Tomlin’s “don’t blink” quote.
“My favorite one is when before a game he talks about don’t blick or I’ll cut your eyelids off,” Heyward said. “And I’m like okay! It just means that you got to be willing to just stay focused and don’t let anything else come between. Everybody just gets pretty hyped about it.”

Tomlin also had the phrase “we want volunteers, not hostages” when Le’Veon Bell wasn’t reporting to the team a few years back. He also echoed that sentiment when Antonio Brown wanted out.
He also says “We love being in the kitchen” each time the Steelers play an AFC North opponent.
He usually puts out a new one every season so it’ll be interesting to see what else he comes up with during the 2022 season.
