The Buffalo Bills have re-signed veteran offensive lineman Bobby Hart to a one-year contract, they announced Monday afternoon.
Hart started and ended last season with Buffalo, appearing in one regular season game. In between, he played in three games (one start) for the Tennessee Titans, who signed him off the Bills’ practice squad in October.
A seventh-round pick of the New York Giants out of Florida State in 2015, Hart is entering his eighth NFL season. From 2018-2020, he suited up for the Cincinnati Bengals, starting 45 games.
Hart spent his first three seasons with the Giants, playing in 33 contests in 21 starts.

Spencer Brown and Dion Dawkins are penciled in as the Bills’ two starting tackles. Hart will presumably provide some depth behind them.
If he has to play a large number of snaps though, Buffalo might be in trouble. Hart is a below-average offensive lineman who is best served as a backup depth piece.
