Earlier Thursday afternoon, NFL agent Drew Rosenhaus said there will “absolutely” be more bombshell news coming this offseason.
Well, that news could involve the best quarterback to ever play the game. No, Rosenhaus did not say anything about Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady.
However, one Boston reporter believes the star quarterback will play elsewhere in 2022. Dale Arnold of NESN said that he “wouldn’t be surprised” if Brady plays for a new team this season.
Where? With the Miami Dolphins.
“Would not be surprised if @TomBrady didn’t play for @Buccaneers next season. Try a little further South,” he said on Twitter.

Arnold allegedly told WEEI’s “Merloni and Fauria” that the Dolphins are “working” on a potential trade for the seven-time Super Bowl champion.

It’s difficult to believe the Buccaneers would be willing to trade Tom Brady after his decision to come back from retirement. Buccaneers general manager Jason Licht clearly believes Brady will be around for the 2022 season – and possibly beyond.
“It’s been an awesome two years, and now hopefully it’s an awesome three-plus years, if not more than three, with him,” Licht said during a recent appearance with Sirius XM NFL earlier this week.
Will Brady play for the Buccaneers this season?
