Bill Belichick has been the New England Patriots head coach for two decades.
The legendary head coach doesn’t appear to be slowing down anytime soon, but he’s not making any big future plans, either.
This week, Belichick was asked about Robert Kraft’s coaching future prediction, reportedly made in Mike Florio’s Playmakers book.
Kraft told Florio in a previous interview that he hoped Belichick would be like Warren Buffett and Rupert Murdoch and work into his 80s.
Unsurprisingly, Belichick didn’t have much of a response.
“I’m just looking forward to this year,” Belichick said. “Got a lot to do. Not really looking past it or behind it. Just focused on the present. A lot to do.”
Belichick and the Patriots are coming off a Wild Card loss to the Bills.
New England will look to make a deeper run in 2022.
