The Cincinnati Bengals aren’t currently at full strength. On Tuesday, NFL insider Tom Pelissero reported that wide receiver Tee Higgins underwent surgery last month.
Higgins had surgery to have his labrum repaired. He’s been sporting a sling since.
The good news is it sounds like he’ll be ready to go by the time training camp rolls around.

Tee Higgins was a key member of the Bengals offense last season. He caught 74 passes for 1,091 yards and six touchdowns during the regular season. He might have been even better during the Bengals’ playoff run to the Super Bowl.
Higgins had nine catches for 96 yards against the Titans in the Divisional Round, 10 catches for 103 yards vs. the Chiefs in the AFC Championship and seven receptions for 100 yards and two touchdowns against the Rams in the Super Bowl.
Higgins’ health will be a major storyline in Cincinnati this offseason. Luckily it looks like he should be ready by start of the 2022 season.
“#Bengals WR Tee Higgins will be good to go to start the 2022 season. Labral repair RTP 4-5 months.”

“Well that’s interesting. This insinuates that Higgins played most/all of 2021 with a torn labrum in his shoulder, usually due to a shoulder dislocation. These take 4-6 months to fully heal.”
